CCVP exam Papers

CCVP Certification

The CCVP certification recognizes the increased importance placed on IT professionals of today who are responsible for integrating voice technology into underlying network architectures. Individuals who earn a CCVP certification can help create a telephony solution that is transparent, scalable, and manageable. Earning a CCVP certification validates a robust set of skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network. The certification content focuses on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (formerly Unified CallManager), quality of service (QoS), gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.

CCVP Prerequisites
CCNA Voice
OR
CCNA (until June 24, 2009)

CCVP Exams & Recommended Training
There are now two paths that can be taken to achieve CCVP certification

For individuals using Cisco Unified Communications Manager the following path towards certification is recommended:

Required Exam(s) Recommended Training
642-436 CVOICE
OR
642-432 CVOICE
Cisco Voice over IP (CVOICE v6.0)
OR
Cisco Voice over IP (CVOICE v5.0)
AND
Cisco Voice over IP fundamentals (CVF v1.0)
642-446 CIPT1 Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager Part 1 (CIPT1 v6.0)
642-642 QoS Quality of Service (QoS)
642-456 CIPT2 Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager Part 2 (CIPT2 v6.0)
642-426 TUC Troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications Systems (TUC v1.0)

For individuals using Cisco Unified CallManager the following path towards certification is recommended:

642-642 QoS Quality of Service (QoS v2.2)
642-436 CVOICE
OR
642-432 CVOICE
Cisco Voice over IP (CVOICE v6.0)
OR
Cisco Voice over IP (CVOICE v5.0)

642-426 TUC Troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications Systems (TUC v1.0)
642-444 CIPT 4.1
